About

In 2020, Biology for Better was founded when a group of individuals decided to turn their shared interests in biology and community service into something extraordinary. Biology for Better is dedicated to supporting STEM education, inculcating a love for biology in the youth, and advocating the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

 

For our first aim, we supplement STEM learning in the rural areas of our countries by online teaching, educational resources and video modules. For our second and third aims, we conduct webinars, collate the latest biology research in our bi-monthly magazine, release blog posts on popular science questions and interview biologists on our podcast. When you decide to join us as a Chapter (local club), you too will gain access to various events and, more importantly, to a community of people who are just as passionate as you are.

BFB is a Youth Member Organization of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network- a community of initiatives that have expertise in one or more areas related to sustainable development, and who commit to work towards research, advocacy, education or implementing solutions for sustainable development.
